Job summary

Greystar seeks a roving Maintenance Supervisor to support communities across Portland and surrounding areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and drive the make-ready process for vacant homes, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.

This role requires flexibility, driving to multiple sites, and proactive resident service. The position requires experience in property management maintenance, tool proficiency, and EPA certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; customer service oriented.
• Knowledge of internet, word processing, spreadsheets; PM system experience preferred.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist with budget and supplies.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and participate in safety meetings.
