Job summary

Greystar seeks a roving Flex Team member to perform maintenance, repairs, and make-ready tasks across Portland-area communities. The role involves hands-on technician work, preventative maintenance, and reliable transportation for assignments of varying durations.

You will help maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality of units and common areas. Requirements include EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant recovery certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely and in compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and vendors; track inventory and reorders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
