Job description

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Roving Leasing Agent to join one of our long-term client’s team and help leasing efforts within their Minnesota Portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s experience in property management and knowledge of affordable housing within section 8/section 42. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Salary: $21-$23 DOQ. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5pm – availability for evenings as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least one year of leasing experience or closely related face-to-face sales experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to source and attract clients/customers with a demonstrated ability to "close" a sale.
• Ability to engage in interpersonal interactions that are culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting practices.
• Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize work projects.
• Must have a commitment to learning and participating in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
• Must be resourceful, a problem solver, relationship-builder, and seeker of excellence.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in leasing – affordable housing experience is required.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Yardi or Entrada.
• Hospitality mindset, outgoing and friendly with residents - customer service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
