Colorado Springs School District 11 seeks a Roving Kitchen Manager for Food Nutrition Services. This 0.88 FTE role travels to multiple elementary and secondary schools to supervise breakfast, lunch, a la carte and catering service.

You will direct staff, manage food safety and inventory, and coordinate with the Production Center Kitchen Manager. Starting date Aug 3, 2026; base pay range $17.31–$20.69 per hour; non-exempt status; EOE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in food service including supervisory experience.
• ServSafe Certification required within 89 calendar days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Travels to any District 11 school to assume Kitchen Manager duties with minimal disruption.
• Direct and supervise food preparation, service, and kitchen operations.
• Train, supervise and evaluate staff and student helpers.
• Maintain proper sanitation, inventory, and records.
• Ensure cash handling and meal counting accuracy; manage costs.
