Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Inpatient Medical Social Worker - Rover to provide psychosocial support, discharge planning, crisis intervention, and care coordination across medical and surgical settings in the Omaha area. You will travel between Nebraska Medicine locations to cover weekday shifts and support patients and families with challenges that affect care and outcomes.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program, at least two years of social work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited university is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently; experience with diverse patient groups.
