Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC seeks a Roving Community Manager to oversee affordable properties across Oregon. You will travel 4–5 days per week to sites in Multnomah, Yamhill, Clackamas and Columbia counties, ensuring properties meet ownership goals and program requirements while maintaining quality service.

The role includes supervising staff and vendors, managing operating budgets, preparing monthly reporting, and coordinating leasing activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience managing a multi-family community.
• At least one year of experience working in affordable housing (HUD, RD, or Tax Credit).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of property budgets and financial accounting.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.
• Able to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines.
• Available to travel to work at projects in/around Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Supervise staff and vendors to meet property management obligations.
• Manage property operations in compliance with laws and program requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and capital planning to reflect ownership objectives.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and manage cash flow.
• Coordinate leasing efforts and review tenant billings and leases.
• Identify leasing prospects and respond to routine inquiries.
• Ensure timely compliance with program funding and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with corporate departments and lead site meetings.
