Job summary

Colliers International in Bloomington or San Bernardino, CA seeks a Mobile Building Engineer. You will maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, ensure safety, and respond to client requests with priority and clear communication.

With at least 3 years in maintenance/engineering, a CFC license or ability to obtain one, and a valid driver’s license, you’ll manage work orders, coordinate with clients, and help minimize downtime while upholding Colliers’ high service standards.

Qualifications

• CFC Certification (or able to obtain).
• Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and building mechanicals.
• On-call flexibility for after-hours/weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Holding required licenses per jurisdiction.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

About You

As the Mobile Building Engineer (FLEET VEHICLE PROVIDED), you are familiar with maintenance systems and equipment. You bring strong organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, and a positive outlook to everything you do.

You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, necessary maintenance, and most repairs to the buildings mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring the systems are running efficiently – and to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties. You will respond to client requests, prioritize, complete work orders, and follow up to ensure minimal downtime and communication.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for preventative maintenance, necessary maintenance, and most repairs to the buildings mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring the systems are running efficiently.

What you’ll bring:

• At least 3 years' experience in building/property maintenance or engineering experience.
• CFC Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and other building mechanical equipment.
• Flexibility to be on-call to respond to after-hours / weekend emergency requests.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Clear motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Holding any necessary required licenses based on building and jurisdictional requirements.

Area/Location Specific: Bloomington or San Bernardino, CA Approximate Hourly Range for this Role: $32.60/hour to $41/hour

Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
