Job summary

CONAM Management Corporation is seeking a Roving Community Manager to oversee affordable apartment communities in Lancaster/Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on resident satisfaction, leasing, maintenance, and financial performance across multiple properties.

The position is full-time with full benefits; compensation is hourly with mileage reimbursement. Prior experience with HUD/LIHTC/PSH/Section 8 is required, along with strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in affordable property management.
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, PSH, Section 8, and related programs.
• Experience managing a multi-family property with leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Proficiency with Yardi or MRI and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of affordable multi-family communities.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site staff.
• Manage leasing process, conduct tours, process applications, and execute leases.
• Ensure financial performance through budgets and monthly reports.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee resident programs and services to maintain high resident satisfaction.
• Oversee renovations and ensure on-time completion within budget.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally.
