Job summary

Dogtopia in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an energetic Rover to help supervise playrooms and assist across the business. You will greet Pet Parents, check pups in and out, and answer questions about daycare packages while maintaining safety and excellent customer service.

You will be cross-trained as Canine Coach & Pet Parent Coordinator, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team that loves dogs and values teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–6 months in a high-volume animal care setting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Franchise experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet Pet Parents and check dogs in and out.
• Provide information about daycare packages and memberships.
• Conduct dog evaluations.
• Assist in front desk and playroom operations as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging play environment.

This role will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach & Pet Parent Coordinator. This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!About the Rover Role:The focus of the Rover is to ensure a safe and fun play environment for each pup while supervising the team to ensure all standards are being met ensuring safety and superior customer service are at the forefront of everything.You are responsible for being a multi-tasker and assisting in all areas of the business, able to jump from a playroom to the front desk with ease.You care for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family.Creating the Most Exciting Day Ever for the pups in your playroom.You interact with dogs and are always on stage.
