Job summary

US Foods is seeking a routing supervisor to manage outbound shipments and optimize routes to improve delivery reliability across customers and distribution centers. You will lead routing initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

The role requires 3+ years in transportation supervision, proficiency with routing software, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a transportation/operations supervisory role.
• 3 years of routing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in routing software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum delivery reliability by analyzing routes and driving improvements.
• Initiate and support routing projects to reduce miles and improve on-time performance.
• Schedule and facilitate routing meetings with sales leadership to align on delivery windows.
• Monitor routing metrics: On Time, Cases/Truck/Mile/Stop, Goal Distance.
• Act as a change agent to optimize department functions and train staff.
