Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Routing Leader to oversee outbound delivery routing operations for a high-volume foodservice distribution center. You will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of routing, focusing on on-time delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

The role partners with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to develop routing strategies that drive growth, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of transportation, logistics, routing, distribution, or related operational experience.
• 1+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing personnel through hiring, training, performance management, and career development.
• Own daily and strategic planning of outbound delivery routes serving restaurant customers.
• Design and optimize route structures to improve service levels, fleet utilization, and productivity.
• Analyze route performance and implement improvements that reduce costs and miles.
• Collaborate with Transportation Operations to ensure route plans are executable.
