Job summary

CERO Cooperative, Inc. is hiring a Driver Helper to assist drivers with food-waste collection and to keep the warehouse clean and organized. The role splits time between route work and warehouse tasks, with responsibilities rotating based on daily needs.

The employee must be comfortable with early starts and working outdoors around waste, totes, trucks, and changing weather. This position is permanent, full-time, offering benefits including paid time off and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in warehouse, delivery, sanitation, moving, or similar physical work.
• Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time for early morning shifts.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely.
• Spanish and English bilingual ability is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ride with the driver on collection routes and help load/unload 32- and 64-gallon totes.
• Move totes to and from customer areas; clean or exchange totes as needed.
• Assist with tote and supply deliveries and communicate respectfully with customers.
• Help with warehouse duties: wash/sanitize totes, organize totes, load/unload, and maintain the warehouse.
