UniFirst Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Route Trainee to learn hands-on delivery and service skills as you prepare to become a Route Service Representative. You’ll support daily operations, learn multiple customer accounts, and gain field experience.

This role emphasizes safety, customer care, and reliability, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no nights. A strong work ethic and willingness to train are essential for growth into a full-time RSR.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• Educational requirements: High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technologies to improve operations.
• Physical stamina: lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in UniFirst’s Service Certificate Program to prepare for a Route Service Representative (RSR) role.
• Support daily operations by loading/unloading route trucks and ensuring accurate starts to each day.
• Deliver clean garments and products to customers and return soiled items on schedule.
• Provide route coverage during RSR absences to maintain service levels.
• Operate a company walk-in truck along designated routes with safety first.
• Engage in a physically active role across indoor/outdoor environments.
• Contribute to service department success by building customer relationships and reliability.
• Maintain a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.
