Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver in the United States, Washington state area. The role involves safe on-site operation of a box truck to pick up and transport used tires, working in a two-person team, loading tires manually, and maintaining accurate route documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Valid Non-CDL driver’s license.
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualification requirements for non-CDL drivers.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per DOT standards.
• Minimum of 1 year of box truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Non-CDL box truck on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work as part of a two-person team with a Route Helper to manually load, stack, lace, and secure tires onto the truck.
• Manually handle and stack waste tires weighing up to 50 pounds each.
• Serve as the primary contact at customer locations, including obtaining signatures and completing required documentation.
• Ensure loads are properly stacked and secured and compliant with DOT and company safety requirements before transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Complete route paperwork and required company/customer documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations staff regarding route status, delays, or issues.
• Navigate routes using maps, GPS, and dispatch instructions accounting for traffic and site conditions.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, tire stores, and internal teams.
• Follow Liberty Tire Recycling safety policies and environmental standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support tire removal operations.
