Job summary

Sharps Compliance, Inc. is seeking a Route Service Technician to service accounts and deliver excellent customer service. You will operate a 26 ft.

straight truck, comply with DOT/state regulations, and follow safety policies. Paid training, company uniforms, health benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO after 90 days, and a Stay-On bonus are offered. This is a growth opportunity in a mission-driven medical waste industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of customer service experience; route management experience is a plus.
• CDL Class B is preferred but not required; valid license and MEC required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to regulations.
• Plan daily schedules based on manifests and route sheets.
• Load trucks with supplies and ensure proper packaging for transport.
• Deliver excellent customer service to assigned accounts and communicate issues.
• Ensure safety of waste, supplies, and equipment before operating the vehicle.
• Complete required paperwork including DOT Driver Logs if applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
