Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage daily garment deliveries and pickups, service a set of customers, and grow relationships on a dedicated route. You will operate a walk-in truck, ensure on-time deliveries, and uphold safety.

This full-time role offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, a commission component from day one, and benefits like health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean record.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to use new technologies to improve operations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: Serve as the primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Support Daily Operations: Load/unload route trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: On-time deliveries/returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: Build rapport, address service needs, upsell products.
• Drive Sales Growth: Identify upselling opportunities to grow route earnings.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: Operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes, prioritizing safety.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: Work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: Troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights, weekends, serving the same route.
