Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to be the face of our brand on your assigned route. You’ll deliver and pick up garments and products daily, build lasting relationships with customers, and act as the on‑road ambassador for a nationwide leader in garment services.

This field-based role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends, plus a commission-driven earning potential from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable using and learning new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on the route.
• Deliver and pick garments and products daily.
• Assist service team with loading and unloading route trucks.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships and upsell products to enhance value.
• Operate a company walk‑in truck on designated routes, prioritizing safety.
• Engage in a physically active role across indoor and outdoor environments.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a predictable schedule, Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights or weekends.
