Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide exceptional service to a predefined dealer route. You will build strong dealer relationships, ensure product displays are stocked, and manage route inventory and paperwork with accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and at least one year of delivery or customer service experience. Computer/tablet use and a clean driving record with a valid DOT card are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.

• Working knowledge of computers/tablets and scanners.
• Clean driving record and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and provide service to dealers on route safely and promptly.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain accurate assets.
• Establish and maintain dealer relationships.
• Keep displays full, rotated per agreements, and manage inventory.
• Handle sales, consignment, warranties, invoicing and paperwork timely.
• Collect and return junk/used batteries to the warehouse.
• Interact professionally with stakeholders and follow driver program requirements.
