Position Summary

A Cleaner World is seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of our pickup and delivery business throughout the Triangle.

This is a hands-on leadership and growth role responsible for building revenue, developing route professionals, strengthening customer relationships, improving route performance, and expanding A Cleaner World's presence across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities.

The right person will combine strong operational leadership with a sales and growth mindset. You'll be expected to understand the numbers, know the customers, coach the team in the field, identify new opportunities and continuously look for ways to make the business better.

We are not simply looking to fill a position. We are looking for the right person to help us build the next stage of our Triangle pickup and delivery business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Grow the Business

• Develop and execute strategies to increase pickup and delivery revenue throughout the Triangle.
• Identify new residential, professional, corporate and community opportunities.
• Help convert prospects into long-term pickup and delivery customers.
• Increase business within existing territories while identifying opportunities for new routes and service areas.
• Understand the competitive landscape and where A Cleaner World has opportunities to gain market share.

Lead and Develop the Route Team

• Lead, coach and develop our pickup and delivery professionals.
• Establish clear expectations for service, customer relationships, sales and route performance.
• Regularly ride routes and coach employees in the field.
• Recruit and develop talented route professionals as the business grows.
• Create a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement.

Build Strong Customer Relationships

• Ensure that customers receive reliable, personalized and consistent service.
• Develop relationships with key customers and accounts.
• Monitor customer activity and identify customers who may be at risk before they leave.
• Take ownership of customer concerns and make sure problems are resolved quickly.
• Help route professionals become trusted customer advocates rather than simply pickup and delivery drivers.

Improve Route Performance

• Monitor route revenue, customer growth, retention, density and profitability.
• Evaluate route design, schedules and territories for efficiency and growth potential.
• Develop performance goals and track results.
• Identify underperforming routes or territories and develop improvement plans.
• Work with company leadership to plan future route expansion.

Work Across the Organization

• Coordinate closely with production, retail operations, marketing and senior leadership.
• Make sure customer expectations are communicated clearly throughout the organization.
• Provide market feedback that can improve service, pricing, marketing and the overall customer experience.
• Help shape how A Cleaner World grows pickup and delivery throughout the Triangle.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who has already demonstrated success leading people and growing a route-based service business.

Experience in dry cleaning, laundry or garment-care pickup and delivery is strongly preferred, although successful experience in uniforms, linen, pest control, beverage, water, home services or another recurring route-service business may also be a strong fit.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Leadership experience in a route-based service organization.

• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• A sales mentality without sacrificing service.
• Comfort working with financial and operating metrics.
• The ability to balance strategy with hands-on field leadership.

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

We are especially interested in candidates who can point to measurable accomplishments such as growing route revenue, improving customer retention, developing employees, increasing route density or opening new territories.

Compensation

Base salary: $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience

In addition to base salary, this position will include a meaningful performance incentive tied to results such as:

• Route revenue growth
• New customer development
• Customer retention
• Route profitability
• Team performance and development

Strong performers can earn total compensation of $85,000+, with additional upside for exceptional growth.
