Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Representatives delivering to multiple customers daily. Drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and location profitability.

You will recruit, train, and develop a team, build relationships with customers, and collaborate with the management team to deliver exceptional service and programs. This role emphasizes leadership, negotiation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service experience required.
• Ability to problem solve and handle various customer service situations.
• Ability to negotiate, train, coach and lead a team.
• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 21 years of age.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license in state of residence.
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
• Build strong relationships with customers and elevate customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with location management to provide best customer service and product programs.
• Negotiate customer contract renewals.
