Job Description

Safely operate a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to clients. Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation. Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products. Load and unload products according to company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Review invoices daily for completeness and accuracy, making corrections as needed. Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability. Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts. Assist the sales team with acquiring new business. Clearly communicate services, policies, and pricing to customers. Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly and courteously. Prioritize personal safety and ensure the safety of others by following safe work practices, using proper tools and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the above activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience and an excellent driving record
• Customer service experience with diverse clients
• Strong math and basic computer skills
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and quickly resolve customer concerns

Working Conditions: Exposure to adverse weather conditions, including extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on location. Fast-paced environment with irregular and long hours at times.

Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs., load and unload products from trucks, and occasionally lift 50+ lbs. Requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
