Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is hiring a motivated Route Relief Driver in California to drive on designated routes, service customers, and grow accounts with real commission on new business you build.

This is a B2B sales and account‑management role that uses a truck, not a pure delivery job. Proven sales and customer service experience is required, with a Class C license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience is required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record for 3 years.
• Ability to drive a 26' bobtail truck.
• Comfortable loading/unloading bags of linen up to 50 lbs daily.
• Must pass a drug test and clinic physical.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales, not just delivery.
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services.
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule.
• Build long-term customer relationships through responsive, professional service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Maintain inventory and follow company inventory-control policies.
• Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck.
• Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently.
• Attend training and service department meetings.
