Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking motivated Route Relief Drivers to service customers on designated routes and to grow accounts with real commission on the business you build. This is a B2B sales and account management role that comes with a truck.

Proven sales and customer service experience is required. Starting pay is competitive hourly with uncapped commission potential and a clear career path within a family-owned, essential-services company headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record for 3+ years.
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck.
• Ability to load/unload bags of linen up to 50 lbs daily.
• Must pass a drug test and clinic physical.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales.
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services.
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck.
• Build long‑term customer relationships through responsive, professional service; listen to and resolve service complaints, keeping your supervisor informed.
• Maintain inventory and follow company inventory‑control policies.
• Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck, and maintain a professional appearance at every stop.
• Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently.
• Attend training and service department meetings.
