Job summary

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver to train and drive a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, and selling products on a defined route. The role includes mandatory 5-day Safety Kleen Academy in Elgin, IL with airfare, hotel, per diem, and paid training at standard rate.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL.
• Endorsements (Hazmat and Tanker) to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required.
• Background check, drug test and medical examination required by position.
• Compliance with OSHA respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles safely per DOT and regulatory requirements.
