Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee to train to drive a Class B box truck, service parts washers, pick up hazardous waste, and sell products along a defined route. Company pays for CDL training and 5-day Safety Kleen Academy in Elgin, IL.

Candidates must travel to attend the academy; airfare, hotel, per diem are provided. Health benefits begin after 30 days, with 401K and tuition reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and follow all safe work practices.
• Complete daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums at customer sites.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate and qualify leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services within existing accounts.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and DOT rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety policies.
