Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Chester, VA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver to train for driving a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, picking up containerized hazardous waste, and selling products on a defined route. Qualifications

• Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks as part of the job.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam may be required for the position.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standard and facial hair rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks and follow company policies.
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell products/services and generate new leads in the field.
• Support automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing clients.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and rules.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with DOT and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
