Job description

Work Schedule: Work days vary each week until you are assigned or bid to a specific route. This is a 5-day work week scheduled at 50 hours per week.

Route Sales Representatives are critical to our success at FritoLay! They are responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising FritoLay’s complete line of products, including Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and more, to local stores such as gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. As a Route Sales Representative, you will drive a FritoLay truck to different stores, work independently to unload orders, merchandise products, and partner with store managers to increase sales, take orders, and maintain records throughout the day.

While you will start as a Route Sales Representative, we invest in your growth with us. This role can open doors to career opportunities within our company or PepsiCo. Typical tasks include:

  1. Learning the basics of the role through four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our team members.
  2. Running routes for team members, experiencing different stores, and meeting new customers.
  3. Growing sales by building relationships, selling displays, and completing national initiatives.
  4. Attaining a route with a set schedule and days off.
  5. Working in a fun, fast-paced, and physical environment.

Our operations run 24 hours a day, so schedules may not be typical. Team members often work weekends and holidays. The job is physical; you should be prepared to be on your feet for the entire shift. Minimum qualifications include:

  • Being 21 years of age or older.
  • Having a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain additional licenses as required by law.
  • Being able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
