Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring a route sales/merchandiser to keep our popular brands stocked on store shelves across Texas. You will place orders, merchandise products, and promote new items to grocery shoppers.

This full-time position provides base pay plus commission, a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends, a fuel card, mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life), a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and uniforms/footwear allowances along

Qualifications

• Grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Place orders and merchandise products to keep shelves stocked.
• Drive additional sales by promoting new products and gaining display space.
• Maintain displays, rotate products, and build in-store relationships.

What You Will Do

In this position, you will place orders and merchandise product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers.

• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily workBuild in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize your personal vehicle for daily route

What We Look For

• Grocery experience (preferred but not required)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and 18 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check and drug test requirements
