Job summary

Schwan's Company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a driven merchandiser and orders specialist to ensure our products are on store shelves and visible to shoppers. You will place orders, drive additional sales, merchandise displays, rotate stock, and use handheld devices to record daily activity while building relationships with store teams.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; the role includes a daily route and the potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• Grocery experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product.
• Able to meet pre-employment background check and drug test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Place orders and merchandise to secure shelf space.
• Drive additional sales by promoting new products.
• Maintain displays and rotate stock.
• Use handheld devices and sales software to complete daily tasks.
• Build in-store relationships and coordinate with store teams on the route.

• Base + Commission Structure
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Sunday & Wednesday OFF)

What You Will Do

In this position, you will place orders and merchandise product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers.

• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize your personal vehicle for daily route

What We Look For

• Grocery experience (preferred but not required)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and 18 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check and drug test requirements
