Job summary

Strategic Retail Partners in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Route Service Representative to travel across stores, implement merchandising plans, and stock shelves with SRP products. The role requires a valid driver's license, comfort with driving a company vehicle, and willingness to spend 2-3 nights per week on the road.

Help us surface eye-catching displays, manage planograms, and collaborate with store managers to meet merchandising goals while earning hourly pay with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Tech savvy (smartphone apps, Outlook, and Zoom).
• Previous experience in customer service, sales and/or retail preferred.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and bend, push, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of a vehicle frequently.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to rent and operate a rental car through company approved vendor, as required for travel or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Independently travel across a large territory of various store locations to implement merchandising plans and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Set up, replenish, and merchandise our products at stores on a route driving a company vehicle from SRP's fleet.
• Arrange and maintain product displays to enhance visual appeal and drive sales.
• Maintain planograms to ensure consistency across all store locations.
• Set up promotional displays and ensure promotional materials are accurately placed.
• Work closely with store managers and other team members to achieve merchandising goals.
• Manage stock, rotate products, and ensure shelves are well-stocked in store while maintaining a company paid storage unit that will store additional inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently travel across a large territory of various store locations to implement merchandising plans and ensure compliance with company standards.

Daily Schedule starting at 6:00am. The schedule is typically 48-52 hours a week with additional overtime available periodically. Candidate must have the ability to spend 2-3 nights out a week in a hotel when specific route business needs determine it.

Compensation Range: $50,544 – $59,280 annually Note: This is an hourly, non-exempt role with a base pay of $18.00 – $19.00 per hour. The range above reflects the estimated annual compensation based on a 50-hour workweek and includes expected overtime and performance-based bonuses. Actual earnings may vary based on schedule, experience, and location.
