• Meet sales targets and promote route growth, service renewal, and customer retention to improve profitability.
• Identify opportunities to solicit new business and increase revenue by selling new items to current customers and obtaining new accounts.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide outstanding customer service with an account ownership mindset.
• Focus on account retention and be the first/primary responder to customer issues and opportunities.
• Ensure products are loaded/unloaded safely, stocked, rotated, and maintained; vehicle and equipment are kept clean.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and cleanliness; comply with DOT rules.
• Safeguard company assets and customer property; manage inventory levels at customer locations.
• Keep accurate daily accounting of monies and products according to guidelines.
• Practice active listening and communicate effectively under adverse conditions.
• Communicate with management and other stakeholders regarding customer status and competitors in locations.
