Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking an Hourly Route Sales Representative to safely drive a step-van, deliver and merchandise our snack products, and provide outstanding service to grocery stores in Hatfield, PA.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (about 45–50 hours weekly) with a retention bonus of up to $250, competitive benefits, and 401(k) with Company matching. Strong emphasis on sales growth and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70% or better.
• Able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Stable work history with good references.
• No DUI in the past 3 years.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Sell, deliver, stock and merchandise Herr's brand snacks to grocery retailers and independent stores.
• Progressively increase current customer sales volume and build relationships with key decision makers.
• Provide excellent customer service and inquire about customer needs.
• Process orders by entering product codes into handheld devices and manage inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain a clean truck.
