Job summary

The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist is a key support role within Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated’s POD Sales model, providing vacation coverage for BAM and Merchandiser and coordinating with customers, merchandisers, and drivers on routes from Nappanee to the South Bend area.

Located in the South Bend area, this role contributes to revenue and gross profit through daily route execution, promotions, and strong in-store execution in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of work experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders to support daily operations.
• Executes promotions and new products based on LOS and promotions, ensuring strong Right Execution Daily scores.
• Organizes and maintains back room, stacks and arranges product by package and flavor, and handles returns and damaged items.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials and rotates products; ensures vendor operations are correct.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up, pricing, and proactive opportunities.
• Identifies competitive issues and communicates market activities that could impact the business; follows safety procedures.
• May serve as first call for late PM/early AM weekends to ensure proper route coverage and liaison for orders and inventory.
