Job summary

Route Management Services LLC in Baton Rouge is seeking a Route Sales Driver / Route Buyer to support bakery route operations across the New Orleans area. You will deliver fresh bread and bakery products, build strong customer relationships, and drive route revenue on your assigned route.

This full-time role offers independence, a Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities to grow and expand your route business through proactive selling and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• MVR must meet company standards.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Meet all DOT requirements for route driving.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh bakery products to grocery stores and local retailers along your route.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable service and communication.
• Ensure products are stocked, rotated, and displayed properly.
• Manage inventory and maintain product accountability on route.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh bread and bakery products to grocery stores and local retail customers along your assigned route
• Build strong relationships with customers by providing outstanding service and reliable delivery
• Ensure products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate product accountability
• Identify sales opportunities and promote additional products to increase route revenue
• Operate your route efficiently while meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer experience at every stop

Qualifications

• Previous Route Sales, Delivery Driver, or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience is a plus
