Green Zone Recycling in Decatur, GA is seeking a dependable Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to join our team. You will operate a collection vehicle, service recycling sites, and help divert reusable textiles and footwear from landfills.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently with a strong work ethic. Home daily, training provided, and Saturday work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card (FedMed) required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round, in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle along an assigned route.
• Service textile collection bins and donation locations.
• Load, unload, and transport materials.
• Stage and organize materials at designated locations.
• Complete route logs and other required documentation.
• Communicate route updates, maintenance concerns, and site issues to management.
• Follow all DOT regulations, state driving laws, and company safety procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service at collection locations.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
