Job summary

Green Zone Recycling is seeking a dependable Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to join our Bloomington, IL operations. You will operate a collection vehicle and service recycling sites on a daily route.

You will work independently, stay active, and represent a company that values safety, reliability, and teamwork. This full-time role offers steady hours and daily home time.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (FedMed).
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Outdoor work in varying weather throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle along an assigned collection route
• Service textile collection bins and donation locations
• Load, unload, and transport collected materials
• Stage and organize materials at designated locations
• Complete route logs and other required documentation
• Communicate route updates, maintenance concerns, and site issues to management
• Follow all DOT regulations, state driving laws, and company safety procedures
• Provide professional and courteous service at collection locations
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Schedule
