Green Recycling in Bloomington, IL is seeking a dependable Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to operate a collection vehicle and service recycling sites. You will help divert reusable textiles and footwear from landfills while working independently and as part of a team.

The role offers full-time hours, early morning start times, and a home-daily schedule with potential Saturday work based on business needs. Training leads to daily pay range of $190–$215.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (FedMed).
• Minimum of one year of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle along an assigned collection route.
• Service textile collection bins and donation locations.
• Load, unload, and transport collected materials.
• Stage and organize materials at designated locations; complete route logs and required documentation.
• Communicate route updates, maintenance concerns, and site issues to management.
• Follow all DOT regulations, state driving laws, and company safety procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service at collection locations.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
