Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Recon Team member in Anchorage to check in branch sales invoices, driver loads and transfers, and handle daily deposits. You will balance invoices, process payments, and maintain records essential to sales metrics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400, plus strong 10-key and cash handling, are required. This full-time office role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to liquor laws, with duties spanning end-of-day processing, customer inquiries, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months data entry or accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, reconcile and balance all delivery, sales, samples and other branch invoices.
• Process cash and checks for bank deposit.
• Process end of day reports.
• Field invoice inquiries from retail delivery or Corporate AR; implement timely responses and resolutions.
• Maintain orderly records of route invoices to ensure expedient retrieval.
• Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times.
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with an AS400 system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team or independently.
• Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and bookkeeping.
• Excellent demonstrated 10-key and cash handling skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
