Sysco Connecticut, LLC is seeking a Routing Specialist to facilitate efficient delivery operations using Roadnet and related tools, ensuring routes comply with hours of service and weight regulations. You will plan and optimize routes for multiple facilities and coordinate driver schedules to meet service commitments.

You’ll maintain loading data, prepare management reports, and contribute to cost control while adhering to DOT rules and company policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Routing of all legitimate customer orders in the most efficient way possible for multiple shipping facilities while under time and accuracy constraints.
• Plans routes, including integrating new customers and seasonal adjustments.
• Analyzes existing routes for opportunities to reduce miles, delivery days and hours to improve costs.
• Schedules drivers daily/weekly within overtime and hours-of-service rules.
• Maintains daily loading and door information for the warehouse.
• Prepares meetings and presentations for sales management and executives.
• Ensures compliance with DOT and other regulations.
• Maintains Roadnet system and prepares reports for management.
• Creates proposals for transportation management to improve efficiency, service, and safety.
