Job summary
LMK Recruiting Solutions in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician who will inspect properties, identify pest species, apply EPA-labeled pesticides or traps, and ensure customer satisfaction with effective solutions.
You will maintain detailed digital records, stay current on industry best practices, and collaborate with clients to discuss remediation options while adhering to safety procedures and local regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pest biology, behavior and control methods.
- Licensed pest control license/certification as required by state/local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect properties and identify pest species and infestation levels.
- Safely apply EPA-labeled pesticides and deploy traps or exclusion measures.
- Advise clients on remediation options and preventive measures; conduct follow-up visits.
- Maintain digital logs of services performed, chemicals used, and customer interactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and comply with regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on techniques, products, and certifications.
