Apple Valley Waste is seeking a Route Manager to lead from the front in Keyser, WV. You will oversee dispatching, warehouse activities, and team workflows to drive efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include implementing WMS and PKMS, mentoring staff, conducting safety audits, and coordinating emergency response to maintain operations. Waste management background and leadership training are preferred, with competitive pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management within administrative support or waste management.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and dispatching processes.
• Strong knowledge of safety training protocols and conducting safety audits.
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Certification in operations management or related fields.
• Experience with PKMS software or similar systems.
• Background in environmental health and safety compliance.
• Experience in waste management or remediation services.
• Advanced leadership training or supervisory certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations including dispatching, warehouse activities, and employee workflows to meet organizational goals.
• Manage and develop team members by providing training, performance evaluations, and coaching to ensure high levels of employee performance and engagement.
• Implement and monitor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and PKMS to streamline inventory control and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and safety audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead emergency response initiatives, ensuring preparedness and effective action during incidents to minimize risk and maintain operational continuity.
