Job summary

Signature Retail Services is seeking a Part-Time Route Merchandising Associate in the Providence, RI market. You will travel to big box stores to build displays, execute planograms, and support seasonal resets.

Training is provided, with a flexible schedule around school or another job, earning $18.00-$20.00 per hour for about 30-35 hours weekly. You’ll be independently traveling to stores, maintaining planograms, and ensuring shelves are stocked and attractive, while delivering reliable service

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Located within ~30 minutes of assigned territory.
• Proof of valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle for store travel.
• Smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access.
• Prev merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
• Role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel independently throughout the territory using a personal vehicle to service stores.
• Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, POP materials, fixtures, and displays to optimize appearance.
• Keep shelves stocked and products customer-ready; flag replenishment needs.
• Partner with store personnel and act as a product expert for staff and customers.
• Represent Signature Retail Services professionally in every store visit.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate scheduling or attendance changes promptly.

Your Territory:

This route services store locations in [City 1], [City 2], [City 3], and surrounding areas. Regular travel throughout the territory is essential for this role.

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Travel independently throughout your assigned territory using your personal vehicle to service store locations.
• Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays to make products look their best.
• Down-stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and keep products fully stocked and customer-ready.
• Partner with store personnel to check inventory levels, flag replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
• Be the go-to product expert for store associates and customers, answering questions and sharing product knowledge.
• Represent Signature Retail Services and our client partners professionally in every store you visit.
• Show up reliably and manage your schedule so your visits and projects are completed on time, every time.
• Communicate promptly about attendance, scheduling, or anything that could affect a store visit, and consistently meet the service standards our clients count on.

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Located within approximately 30 minutes of the assigned territory.
• Proof of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance, in which you are listed as an insured driver.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle to travel between store locations on your route.
• A smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
• Previous merchandising experience is a plus but not required- we offer paid weekday training for motivated candidates!
• This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and ladder use, plus the ability to regularly lift and move materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
