Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations. You will ensure products are clean, appealing, and well-stocked while building relationships with customers on the route.

Responsibilities include inventory management, promotions implementation, and safe driving to deliver snacks, drinks, and fresh food. A valid license and physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Drug screen and pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop and reach along the route.
• Must be 21+ for DOT requirements.
• Preferred: Merchandising and Route/DOT experience.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and planograms; roll-out promotions and collect customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for all items and restock shelves, coolers, and coffee.
• Follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols; record out-of-date or unsold merchandise.
• Monitor shelf life to minimize spoilage and coordinate with warehouse for delivery.
• Load/unload products safely and drive the company vehicle to deliver merchandise.
• Greet customers and offer product suggestions; provide feedback to improve route efficiency.
• Complete full inventory counts as designated by company protocol.
• Inspect food quality and appearance; report stale products and conduct final walk-through.
