Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to represent the company across client locations by ensuring vending machines and micro-markets are stocked, clean, and visually appealing. You will build customer relationships, drive safely, and upsell opportunities while delivering snacks and beverages.

Responsibilities include merchandising to store layouts, rolling out promotions, inventory management, cash handling at kiosks, and maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend,stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be 21 to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs. Roll-out promotions. Gather and report customer feedback. Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold, to include soft drinks, pre-packaged food, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, fruits, vegetables, candy, pastry, and snack items.
• Load and unload products in accordance with proper safety protocols. Driver the company vehicle to deliver merchandise. Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding account product changes and recommends scheduling changes.
• Collect money from kiosks. Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention protocols. Record transactions on appropriate forms and handheld devices.
• Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items during transit and stocking. Perform routine cleaning at each point of sale.
