Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser to manage account sales, merchandising, and inventory across Pembroke, NC and surrounding areas.

You will drive promotions, build displays, and coordinate orders with retailers, earning a base salary plus commission for this multi-route role. Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Critical thinking skills.
• Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
• High initiative and willingness to learn.
• Career-mindedness and a highly competitive nature.

Responsibilities

• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes and generates sales orders to ensure day‑to‑day success, revenue, volume and gross profit.
• Executes applicable promotions and new products to ensure excellence in RED scores for assigned customers.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelf according to procedures.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product and inventory.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelf; rotates product and checks vendors.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow‑ups on requests, pricing, programs, and opportunities.
• Identifies competitive issues and market activities and executes duties safely.
