Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to service several California retail locations, displaying and stocking greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independent work across diverse stores.

Training is provided, with a starting hourly rate plus increases over the first year. Flexible scheduling and 401(k) with company match are included. Routes include Ukiah, Willits, Lakeport, Clearlake, Nice, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other locations
• Maintain organized backroom areas and other inventory tasks
• Communicate with management about schedules or questions
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time-management and organization
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours
• Avail yourself for additional days or extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, or product relocation as requested
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team
