Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to service multiple Jackson, TN retail locations, displaying and maintaining greeting cards, gift wrap, and related items. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independent work on a route across several stores, with a focus on daytime hours and holiday coverage.

Starting pay is $11.70 per hour, with scheduled increases to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after 1 year.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• English speaking, reading and writing required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to multiple locations.
• Access to internet for updates and training.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandize and organize product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail setting with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Occasionally assist with store resets and fixture work as needed.
• Plan weekly schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
