Job summary

American Greetings Corporation is seeking Merchandisers to work independently across multiple retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush and more.

The role offers a starting pay of $15.30 per hour with increases after 6 months and after 1 year, along with flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match. Routes include Plainfield, IL and nearby stores, with about 10 hours weekly, rising to ~22 hours during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain an organized backroom and other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with time management and organization.
• Partner with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• The ability to work on your own and with a team.
