Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations in the Gaffney, SC area. You will service multiple accounts, follow planograms, and communicate with store management to drive sales.

The route covers Gaffney and nearby stores, with mileage reimbursement for travel between locations; schedule typically Mon-Fri early start. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves according to procedures and programs; moves product from sales floor to cold vault; creates and distributes POS materials.
• Fills and merchandises coolers and displays on the sales floor.
• Maintains back room cooler by organizing products and handling returns and disposals.
• Builds business relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and program discussions.
