Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser to service Laurens, SC and surrounding areas. You will present products in customer retail locations, follow planograms, and communicate with store management to support plan sets.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores, and the route requires early start times with weekend work. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, creating and placing point-of-sale materials, and maintaining back-room

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy varied customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates products by flavor and package.
• Maintains back room organization and stores shelves according to planograms.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and proactive pricing.
